About Us

We operate nationwide, to support public entities, corporate providers and families by enabling elderly or disabled individuals to live with greater independence. While this venture started in 2003, we've been providing care and supports for the disabled and elderly since 1990.

Supporting elderly and disabled individuals has historically been provided in an institutional setting or through constant contact via visits by caregivers, family & friends, home health staff or case managers. Simply stated, the challenge is: There are far more individuals desiring to live independently today than there are caregivers.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau:
  • 51.2 million Americans have some level of disability. They represent 18% of the population.

  • 32.5 million Americans have a severe disability. They represent 12% of the population.

  • 10.7 million people ages 6 and older need personal assistance with one or more activities of daily living (such as taking a bath or shower) or instrumental activities of daily living (such as using the telephone).

  • 35 Million Americans are over 65 and 12.4 Million Americans are 75 or older.

Now, thanks to the power of the Internet, cell phones and PDAs, the technology provided by SimplyHome and its partners, can support caregivers and family members through monitoring with non-invasive technology. The basis is a simple rule-setting and real-time system that uses a continuous, high fidelity electronic bond between the residence and the caregivers to provide notification when these agreed to and pre-determined rules are broken.

Our mission is straightforward: We want to deploy technological solutions and expertise to enable elderly and disabled consumers to "Simply" stay at home.
