The SimplyHome system from CMI is a major tool in providing the freedom to live independently at home. Our caring, individualized approach allows technology to be personalized to support activities of daily living.
The basic system uses our "Up & About" feature by sensing activity as well as inactivity and sending messages to family members, caregiver(s), and/or other providers via email or cell phone message. In addition, the SimplyHome system will allow you to:
- Know if a door, window or cabinet is open when it should NOT be.
- Access 24/7 web logging of activities.
- Integrate the basic system with other sensors for real-time alerts such as:
- Kitchen stove: when and how long on/off, and remote turn-off
- Medication management system
- Bed, floor, chair and other uniquely designed sensors
- Paging alerts (PERS)
- Environmental (temperature and other) oversight
Caregivers can feel confident the SimplyHome system is monitoring all specified activities in the home. Events are logged into the individual’s private and secure SimplyHome Web portal, allowing designated family members, caregivers or case managers to respond to events or trends of activities.
SimplyHome is always there, "just-in-case."
